27:59Now PlayingIn this episode of Mirror Metro, Shreya Dhoundial willl be discussing how att least 133 people were killed when the suspension bridge over the Machchhu River in Morbi, Gujarat, fell on Sunday night. The CCTV film demonstrated that once the bridge was shaken, it collapsed. People can be seen trying to swing the bridge using its cables while holding on to it in the footage. There were many people on the bridge, and when they jostled it, it swung and then suddenly collapsed. Many individuals who were standing on the bridge plunged into the river.
We are joined by few panelists.
"Where is the CEO & MD of the company? He cannot be arrested, why?" Consultant Disaster Management & Environment Krishan Mitroo.
"This is a clear cut case of negligence & corruption," says Parvinder Singh Sethi, Political Analyst.
"It is not about the response. We condemn the first act of negligence/ignorance," says Arshpreet Khadial from
Congress.
"Whosoever the culprit is will not be spared," says BJP's Snehal Joshi.
