5:56Now PlayingOn Monday, when Delhi's air quality improved, Environment Minister Gopal Rai said that primary schools in Delhi would reopen on November 9 and that restrictions on activities in schools would be lifted. "Over the last two days, the air quality has improved. The AQI decreased to about 350 between yesterday and today. There has been a decrease in stubble burning counts as well, and the wind has shifted direction, according to Rai. He added that the directive for Delhi government employees to work from home had been lifted and that government offices would be open as usual starting on Monday. In a directive issued on Sunday, the Centre's air quality body ordered authorities to ease the prohibition on the use of non-BS VI diesel-powered light motor vehicles in Delhi-NCR.
