Hospitals swarmed with patients; death toll crosses 60. Similar to the coronavirus, people are now at risk from the modified dengue virus. The patient is being attacked falsely by the new variation. Following recovery, the patient's platelets are abruptly dropping. According to doctors, many individuals have had these symptoms. This new variation is known as D-2. The first two days the patient experiences a fever. On the third day, the fever goes away. The patient feels in good health. Following that, the patient's platelets start abruptly dropping.

"Fever going away is not always a sign of complete recovery," says Professor Dr. Sanjeev Bagai, Chairperson - Nephron.
