Ever since the war started, Russia suspended the supply of natural gas to European countries. As a result, gas prices are at record highs while is supplies are really low. Since Europe barely has any natural gas resources of their own, governments are trying to purchase as much liquified natural gas as possible. They are also trying to find ways to reduce demand to save whatever energy they have left.
