The victim is a law student in the undergraduate program who was allegedly assaulted by a group of students from both communities. The first-year student was stripped, abused, and forced to consume certain chemicals. Five of the senior accused are in police custody, and others are on the run. The video of the incident is widely being circulated online, and taking the contingency of the matter national commission for women has asked Telangana DGP to take action against the accused.
