Earlier, the Karnataka Home Minister and DGP reached the Mangaluru blast spot to probe the matter in detail. Other people who were present at the spot were two BJP MLAs, the IGP, the DGP of Karnataka, the police commissioner, and others. Police from Mangaluru, Shivamogga, Mysuru, Coimbatore and the central agencies are probing the forward and backward linkages of Mohammed Shariq.
