4:39Now PlayingHimachal Pradesh Assembly Election Results 2022 Live Updates: As the counting for the Himachal Pradesh election is on, a neck and neck contest is underway between BJP and Congress. The AAP is in the fray for the first time in the Assembly polls of the hill state. The counting of votes started at 8 am in 68 counting halls spread across 59 locations throughout Himachal. The voting for all 68 seats in the hill state was conducted in a single phase on November 12 in which a total of 75.6 percent voter turnout was recorded. Trends at around 10.15 am indicated that the Congress was leading in 31 seats while BJP was also leading in the equal number of seats. Four independents were also leading from their respective constituencies.
