as posted by the channel

The government today approved the inclusion of an intranasal Covid vaccine as a booster dose for adults in the vaccination programme. The addition comes amid an increase in cases in China and other countries. iNCOVACC, a two-drop nasal vaccine made in India, will be introduced on the Co-WIN platform. For the time being, Bharat Biotech's vaccine will only be available in private clinics. Those who have previously taken Covishield or Covaxin can use the nasal vaccine as a heterologous booster dose. In heterologous boosting, a different vaccine than the one used in the primary dose series is administered. In November, the Drugs Controller General of India approved the needle-free vaccine for limited use in an emergency situation.
