2:13Now PlayingAfter an accident involving the bus they were riding in occurred in Kerala's Kottayam on Friday night, at least 15 Sabarimala devotees suffered injuries. At about 1:30 am, the accident occurred at Manathoor, close to Pala. The pilgrims were on their way to Sabarimala from Vellore in Tamil Nadu. According to reports, the bus's driver fell asleep behind the wheel and lost control, which caused the bus to crash into a wall. Five of the injured are critically ill and receiving care at Kottayam Medical College, while other injured people are receiving care at Pala General Hospital. The Ramapuram police were in charge of the rescue efforts.
