Employees of the AAP charged the L-G with violating the Constitution. Days earlier, the party had protested Saxena's selection of 10 BJP members to serve as aldermen. The House was postponed until further notice on Friday after an altercation between AAP and BJP councillors within the House during the Delhi mayoral elections. The argument over the oath-taking procedure descended into violence, with council members from opposing parties accusing one another of physical altercations.
