22:54Now PlayingIn this episode of Beyond The Headline, the host Tamanna Inamdar will be discussing how after Chief Minister MK Stalin moved a resolution requiring only the speech written and approved by the government on record, Tamil Nadu Governor RN Ravi left the Assembly on Monday. A motion to reject the deviations was made by CM Stalin after the government accused Governor Ravi of omitting a few references in his speech to the state Assembly. The Governor gave his customary address to the members of the DMK-dominated House as it began its first session of the year. Earlier, MLAs from the DMK government's allies shouted slogans in opposition to Ravi as he began to speak. A few panelists joins us.
"Gov vs Govt problem is not only in Opposition ruling states. People of Tamil Nadu have suffered from 'Dravidian' rule, it's anti-national and anti-Hindu," says Uma Anandan, BJP Councillor. "Governor RN Ravi says something else and does something else. There was no communication from him that he will not read the speech," says Dr Syed Hafeez, DMK.
