1:49Now PlayingGo First (formerly GoAir) was given a show cause notice by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) on Tuesday because of a Bengaluru-Delhi flight that took off on January 9 without 55 passengers.
All of these travellers were waiting to board the plane in the bus at the airport of origin. The regulator stated: "Prima facie it emerges that Go First failed to comply with (civil aviation laws)" after receiving the airline's answer to this omission. In this instance, "many errors such as improper communication, coordination, reconciliation, and confirmation have resulted in a very avoidable situation, and GCA has issued show cause notice to the accountable manager/chief operation officer of Go First as to why enforcement action should not be taken against them for dereliction of their duty.
