Akmal is a Karnataka Kisan cell head and Congress leader whose residence and coffee estate in Chikkamagaluru, Karnataka has been raided by the Income Tax department. According to reports, the Income Tax Department raided Akmal's home and properties and checked documents at both locations. About 9 officials raided the house of the congress leader in the early hours of morning. The case under which the leader’s house was raided is still unknown.
