3:17Now PlayingA Christian pastor was allegedly heckled in Virajpeth near Bengaluru, Karnataka. According to reports, approximately ten people barged into the house where a prayer meeting was being held in the area. Six people have been charged with obstructing the priest. The men who heckled the pastor were said to be Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal members. They claimed that Hindus were being persuaded to become Christians. They handed over the priest to the police in got arrested themselves. Notably, the Karnataka Legislative Assembly passed the "anti-conversion bill to stop conversions in the state" in September last year. In May 2022, the Karnataka government issued an ordinance to put the "Karnataka Protection of Right to Freedom of Religion Bill" into effect.
