2:35Now PlayingAs per the latest news on Mirror Now, on Thursday, PM Narendra Modi officially opened lines 2A and 7 of the Mumbai Metro, a 35-kilometer elevated railway that runs from Andheri to Dahisar. Around Rs 12,600 crore was spent on the construction of the Metro line. Prime Minister Modi laid the cornerstone for these metro projects in 2015. Indian manufacturers produced these metro trains. The National Common Mobility Card and the Mumbai 1 Mobile App will also be introduced by PM Modi. The application will make travelling easier, may be displayed on Metro Station entry gates, and facilitates digital payment to purchase tickets using UPI.
