Very significantly Supreme Court has asked Google to deposit 10% of the fine amount imposed by CCI within a week. NS Nappinai, Supreme Court Advocate said that this order is an affirmation of the effectiveness of CCI and the fact that these laws are going to be taken very seriously in India. And she mentioned that the order to deposit 10% of the fine amount is a standard procedure but it is indeed a big setback for Google.
