Siddaramaiah lashed out at the BJP, claiming that the ruling BJP's anti-people policies had put crores of people's livelihoods in jeopardy. He accused the BJP government of widespread corruption, mismanagement, and abuse of power. He accused the BJP of being a 40% commission government, claiming that nothing would move in the current administration without bribery. He even hit out at JDS saying that voting for JDS is like voting for BJP.
