2:49Now PlayingThe Supreme Court now has all of its available judges after the central government appointed two more ones. Announcing the news, Union Law Minister Kiren Rijiju wrote on Twitter that two chief justices of high courts had been appointed to the Supreme Court on Friday, increasing the court's overall judicial complement to its maximum of 34 members. The Supreme Court will have 34 judges total, including the Chief Justice of India, once the oath is taken. The Supreme Court didn't reach its full capacity until September 2019. The Supreme Court Collegium suggested their names last month. Five new Supreme Court justices were appointed last week. To learn more, watch the entire video!
