2:31Now PlayingAccording to the latest update on Mirror Now, On Wednesday and Thursday, the members of the Air Intelligence Unit (AIU) of the Mumbai Airport Customs department made many seizures totaling 1.44 crore rupees in gold and 92.43 lakh rupees in foreign currency. A total of 2.8 kilograms of gold worth Rs. 1.44 crore and 90,000 Arab Emirates Dirham (AED) and 90,000 US Dollars, totaling Rs. 92.43 lahks, were recovered by Mumbai Airport Customs officers from travelers who were involved in smuggling, according to the Customs. In addition to further investigating the smuggling instances, the authorities have confiscated gold and foreign currency.
