Along with him governor of 14 different states have been changed. Ramesh Bais former minister in Vajpayee Government will be the new governor of Maharashtra. Maha Vikas Aghadi leaders have welcome the move. Shivsena (Uddhav faction) leader Sanjay Raut said that it's not any favour done by the central government by accepting the resignation of Bhagat Singh Koshyari, as more that one year Maharashtra's people were demanding for the resignation of former governor.
