4:30Now PlayingPrime Minister Narendra Modi will be inaugurating the first stretch of the Delhi- Mumbai highway, stretching from Sahna to Dausa at 4:30 p.m. today. The Sohna-Dausa stretch, which is expected to reduce travel time between Delhi and Jaipur to around three hours from the current five-hour, a 40-minute drive, will relieve congestion on the Delhi-Jaipur highway and improve connectivity between Gurgaon, Nuh, Palwal, and surrounding areas. According to an NHAI official, the Sohna-Dausa stretch will likely open for traffic soon after the inauguration. The Delhi-Mumbai expressway will have 94 rest stops, which will include resorts, restaurants, food courts, dormitories, fuel stations, trucker facilities, logistics parks, a helicopter ambulance service for accident victims, and a toll booth.
