Opposition party members insisted that the Chair let Mallikarjun Kharge, the leader of the opposition and president of the Congress, speak in the House shortly after the listed papers were placed on the House table. When Kharge was given the floor by Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar, numerous treasury benches members began yelling protests. The chair, however, removed Kharge's comments from the record. While this was going on, opposition party lawmakers also continued to chant chants calling for Patil's suspension to be lifted, and several of them entered the House Well. Listen In!
