According to the Sena leader, PM Modi would not have advanced this far if Bal Thackeray hadn't "saved" him. He was reportedly making reference to remarks made by Vajpayee following the riots in Gujarat in 2002, in which he urged then-chief minister Modi to uphold "rajdharma." Hitting out at the BJP, Thackeray alleged that the saffron party creates a rift among Hindus. He said his party severed ties with the BJP but they never abandoned Hindutva, adding that the Shiv Sena founder never nurtured hatred. Watch the video to know more.
