Air India would purchase 250 aircraft from Airbus, including 40 wide-body aircraft. Chandrasekaran said that a letter of intent had been signed with Airbus for the purchase of the aircraft during a virtual event that was attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and French President Emmanuel Macron, among others.
The extremely lengthy trips will be made on the wide-body aircraft. In January of last year, Air India was purchased by Tata Group. We are joining with the panelists to share their views on it.
