2:53Now PlayingAfter a huge crackdown in child marriages cases in Assam and several arrests over it, now Gauhati high court has questioned the crackdown. Over 3000 people were arrested by the state government over old and new child marriage cases. Gauhati court has granted bail to many accused in the cases. Court said that these arrests are impacting badly on marriages of accused and destroying their family life. Court also said that no further action or inquiry is needed in these cases now and no custodial interrogation needed as there are children and old people are involved in it.
