After meeting Zelenskyy at the Mariinsky Palace, Biden claimed that "one year later, Kiev stands." In front of three flags representing each nation and with his finger jammed into the podium for emphasis, he continued and Ukraine stands." Democracy is up. The entire world stands with you, as do the Americans. Biden was in the Ukrainian capital for more than five hours, meeting with Zelenskyy to discuss the next steps, paying tribute to the nation's dead warriors, and visiting the workers of the U.S. embassy there. We are joined by Ukrainian MP, Sofiya Fedyna who will be expressing her views on this issue. "For Ukraine it was really an unprecedented visit very unexpected visit even the Members of Parliament didn't know about Joe Biden coming," says Sofiya Fedyna.
