The woman, a registered refugee, filed a police report alleging that a car driver drugged and kidnapped her before gang-raping her with four other persons. In response to her accusation, the Delhi police opened an investigation and filed a case to find the culprit. police representatives added, "Registered as a refugee is the victim. On February 21, she allegedly suffered a gang rape by four individuals. The victim's complaint states that she was being kidnapped by an auto driver while she and her husband were travelling to Southeast Delhi for their daughter's medical care. The victim was then driven to a remote location by the driver. On February 25, the police filed a complaint under IPC sections 365, 368, 376d, 323, and 506."
