Curfew in Nuh, arson in Gurugram. Police outnumbered; admin overwhelmed. Heavy violence broke out in the Nuh District of Haryana, which is close to Gurugram, yesterday. Two home guards and a civilian were killed after clashes broke out during a religious procession in Nuh. Today Section 144 has been imposed for three days, in three more NCR districts bringing the total to four. Schools, colleges and coaching centers to stay shut in Gurugram and Faridabad today. Internet is also to stay suspended in Nuh and Faridabad. Narender Bijarniya, SP Nuh calls this an extremely unfortunate event, and he informs about the suspension of internet in order to curb any misinformation. "Haryana Govt will ensure the arsonists are punished. To a certain extent, state police were unprepared for the pre-planned conspiracy" says Dr. Virender Singh Chauhan.
