as posted by the channelGovernment has announced restriction on import of laptops, tablets and certain types of computers with immediate effect. The restriction has been imposed in order to boost the production and sell of domestic goods while curtailing import of goods from certain countries. The exception remains that if a valid license for import of restricted goods is procured, it will be allowed. Besides these certain other exceptions on import of various products has been introduced as well. This move comes in the wake of Make in India mission of BJP which is directed towards Indian produced goods that will boost the economy of India.
