In solidarity with the NewsClick journalist today journalist union are right now sitting on a dharna outside the Press Club and they are demanding that the press freedom should be there. "Well, they demands are that the government should stop this witch-hunt of journalists, should stop this fishing expedition that it has launched like a giant vacuum cleaner essentially where the government is netting in all kinds of honest journalism being done and we have bigger criminals out in the open while the government is spending resources. It is the taxpayers' resources be it the ED, CBI, the Special Cell, the IT to get after media organization who are just doing honest reporting," stated a protestor.
