The road tunnel under construction in Uttarakhand's Himalayan state collapsed early Sunday morning, trapping 40 workers within. Rescue workers worked nonstop to clear the wreckage and reach the men. On Monday, they made contact with the workers and established that they were all safe.
We are joined by a few panellists to discuss this in detail. "We are coating disasters by conducting construction in a hurry without appropriate environmental checks and balances," said Dilip Cherian. "It's probably an engineering error. This is not a debate about environment vs. development. We will get more clarity after the report," said Anurag Naidu. Watch In!
