as posted by the channelBreaking News: The Sandehskhali case, in which villagers are accused of attacking Enforcement Directorate (ED) agents, has been sent to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) by the Calcutta High Court. TMC Strongman Sheikh Shahjahan of the Trinamool Congress (TMC), who is now under suspension, must be turned over to the CBI, according to an order from the Chief Justice Division Bench of the Calcutta High Court. A previous order establishing a Special Investigation Team (SIT) into the attack on ED officers was also overturned by the Division Bench. Additionally, it has been mandated to turn over to the CBI two cases against Shahjahan that are lodged at the Nazat Police Station and one case at the Bongaon Police Station.
