In connection with the purported usage of snake venom, he was taken into custody by Noida Police on Sunday and also appeared in court. On November 3, 2023, a FIR was filed at the Noida police station's Sector 49, naming him as one of the six individuals. The five other defendants, according to officials, were taken into custody but are now out on bond. Details indicate that the charge was filed for criminal conspiracy under section 120B of the Indian Penal Code and under the Wildlife Protection Act of 1972.
