Ukraine reported 35,351 Russian casualties last month, with drones responsible for 96 per cent of them, while artillery and small arms fire accounted for the remainder. The figure marked a 29 per cent increase compared with February, according to Ukraine’s commander-in-chief. Ukraine’s defence ministry stated that Russia has been unable to fully replace its losses since December. Russia aimed to recruit 409,000 contract soldiers this year, according to Ukraine’s armed forces in January.
