The Court of Appeal's decision reversed an earlier High Court ruling and found that the government's proscription of Palestine Action was lawful and proportionate. The ban was introduced in July 2025 after activists broke into RAF Brize Norton and damaged military aircraft. Membership of, or support for, the group remains a criminal offence under UK terrorism legislation.
