3:02Now PlayingThousands of mourners gathered at Tehran's Grand Mosalla on Saturday to pay farewell to Iran's late Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, as days of state funeral ceremonies continue in the capital. Footage shows crowds filling the Mosalla grounds at night, with mourners holding portraits of Khamenei, praying and crying near images of the late leader.
A public funeral procession is planned for July 6, before ceremonies move to the holy city of Qom on July 7. The ceremonies are due to conclude in Mashhad, where Khamenei's body is expected to be laid to rest at the Imam Reza shrine on July 9. Iran said official delegations and religious figures from more than 90 countries are due to take part, including Pakistan's prime minister and senior representatives from Russia, China, India and Iraq.
