as posted by the channelAfter more than 30 years of marriage, Clem Abrams passes away after a long illness and wife, Lydia 'Dia' Abrams steps up to run their 116-acre family ranch in La Jolla, California. Abrams meets Keith Harper on a dating website. The two hit it off and six months later, Harper moves in with Dia at the ranch and becomes the ranch manager. Harper also claims to be Abrams’ fiance. Keith Harper is named as trustee of Abrams' estate, and her beneficiary in the event of her death.
On June 6, 2020, Dia Abrams is seen at her ranch in Mountain Center, California. Then she is captured on doorbell-cam footage delivering cinnamon rolls to a neighbor. According to Keith Harper, he and Dia have lunch around 2:30 before he leaves to work around the property. Abrams reportedly goes to tend to her horses at another property she owns in Garner Valley. Harper says he returns to the house around 7:30 p.m. Abrams’ pickup is parked outside, but Harper cannot find her. Harper finds Dia's phone plugged in on the night stand. Abrams’ purse and keys are also at the home.
Harper immediately reports Dia missing, and dozens of locals help him scour the ranch and surrounding mountain area on foot, horseback, and all-terrain vehicles. When Riverside County sheriff deputies begin a search, Harper packs up his RV and takes off for Arizona, claiming he needs to take care of a tax issue at a property he owns there.
