as posted by the channelNick Davi, Pastor of Operations at Grace Point Church in Las Vegas moves his wife and two children into a gated townhome community in North Las Vegas, Court of Aliante. Over the last year, difficulties with a neighbor make it necessary for Davi to make multiple complaints to the Homeowners Association. The situation is so bad, Davi calls police twice in one month and obtains a restraining order against the neighbor. Davi tells police his family feels “terrorized” after weeks of allegedly harassment. The family says the neighbor has thrown rocks and large amounts of dog feces into their yard, flooded their home, and during one confrontation pulled a finger across her throat in a cutting motion and saying the family was next.
The Davi family moves out of their home for several weeks in an attempt to de-escalate tensions. While pulling out of the driveway after a quick stop at their home to collect fresh clothing and personal items, Joe Junio drives by the family, pulls up next to their car, and rolls down her windows. Pastor Nick gets out to talk to Junio, as the children record the altercation on a cellphone. As Nick Davi asks Junio "what is your problem with us?" Junio opens her car door, takes a shooters stance, and fires a gun at Pastor Nick Davi, shooting him in the stomach. Nick Davi's wife, Sarah, tries to wrestle the gun from Junio and is shot in the thigh. Joe Junio runs into her townhouse as 911 is called. Pastor Nick Davi dies from his injuries.
