Christopher Hofmann captured this video of a home in Oxford collapsing. The footage shows the moment the foundation gives out, spilling the home’s contents into rushing water.
According to local news outlet WTNH, the occupants were safe.
“I got my son’s teddy bear … we didn’t think it would come to this,” Randi Marcucio, the homeowner and single mother told WTNH.
A GoFundMe has been created to assist Marcucio and her three-year-old son.
According to officials, the flooding took the lives of two Connecticut residents who were swept away by floodwaters.
