Tensions were high during a town hall in Columbus, Nebraska on March 18 when residents hammered Representative Mike Flood over what they say as failed promises to uphold national security. In the video, a Columbus tells Flood, “...you have done nothing to stop Elon Musk and his little band of tech geeks…” explaining how DOGE had dangerous read-write access to “the agencies.”

The Nebraska representative then responded, "I also, have confirmed that the people working in that agency or in that Department of Government Efficiency have passed the security tests. They have the appropriate clearances..."
