Clay Travis said Urban Meyer retiring from a collapsing program and then claiming he had "health issues" follows a pattern. The same thing happened at Florida when Urban Meyer resigned there.
Clay Travis said despite Urban Meyer's so-called retirement, Urban Meyer will be coaching again and most likely Urban Meyer will be coaching at USC. Clay Travis predicted Urban Meyer will take over the USC football program in one year.
Clay Travis said this follows a pattern. Urban Meyer goes to a football program in a Power 5 conference that needs support, he has success, the foundation starts crumbling, Urban Meyer develops "health issues" and then he says the "health issues" are the reason that he is retiring.
Clay Travis said his prediction is that Urban Meyer will take over the USC football program next year. The USC football program is currently coached by Clay Helton. Clay Helton survived being fired this year -- much to the dismay of USC fans.
