On today’s Outkick the Show, Clay Travis commented on the latest good news surrounding the coronavirus outbreak from the US and across the world.

Clay Travis continued by commenting on his interview with Peter King on Outkick the Coverage on Fox Sports Radio this morning. Peter King has made it a habit of consistently criticizing Clay’s opinions, so Clay took the opportunity to handle it on the radio program on Tuesday where Clay ‘filleted’ the under-informed King with facts.

Clay Travis also shared his skepticism regarding the massive four year, $16M per year contract extension Christian McCaffrey signed with the Carolina Panthers. Clay shared some statistics defending the quality of player McCaffrey is, but is still hesitant to believe the money was wisely spent considering how average the Panthers are in other positions on the field.

Clay Travis went on to discuss the NBA’s return plan and took the opportunity to share his opinion that all sports need to get back to competition as quickly as possible.

Finally, Clay Travis shared some bad news coming from the University of Cincinnati. Cincy has announced it is permanently closing the men’s soccer program, which is representative of what might occur with numerous sports programs across the NCAA if college football doesn’t return in the fall. Said Travis, “if college football doesn’t return in the fall, then Armageddon is coming for college athletic budgets.”
