MLB deal near, EPL returns, UVA, UNLV absurdity, NBA bubble details

On today’s Outkick the Show, Clay Travis shared the most recent positive data on the coronavirus.

Clay Travis also commented on MLB and what appears to be a pending deal between players and owners. The proposal identifies a 60-day season beginning on July 19th.

Clay Travis continued by discussing today’s return of the EPL. “The English Premier League started today, which means it beat back every American team sport back to action despite the fact that England has nearly twice the per capita death rate of the United States. This is lunacy to me, but props to the EPL for getting back on the field.”

Clay Travis talked about the NBA and their ridiculous “bubble plan,” replete with an anonymous tip line and manicures and pedicures. “The NBA put out its ‘bubble details.’ A 113-page manual of everything that will govern everything that will take place inside the bubble. I continue to believe this is a ludicrous plan that will look even more ridiculous by August,” said Travis.

Clay Travis concluded by sharing the “off the charts” stupidity and “wokeness” of universities across the country. “You don’t gain anything, UVA, by changing the handle of your sword. You don’t gain anything, UNLV, by taking down a cartoon statue. It’s time for reasonable people to stand to these insane idiots who are spreading this woke hysteria.”
