The Motion: This House Believes The West Has No Right to Impose Environmental Standards on Developing Countries
DR Paul Oquist closes the case for the proposition, as the fifth speaker of six in the debate.
Minister of the Nicaraguan Government, and Secretary of Public Policy. Having worked in Colombia, Vietnam and the Philippines, he is a leading expert on climate change, and represented Nicaragua at the most recent UN COP 21 Convention held in Paris.
The motion was defeated.
