Koen Lenaerts first joined the ECJ as a judge in 2003, and has been its President since 2015. He is also a Professor of Law at Leuven University (Belgium). His speech will be about “Judicial engineering in shaping the European Union's legal order: a tale of combining, distinguishing and balancing norms"
