There’s a deadline in immigration court that can quietly destroy your case before you even testify ⚠️ Any evidence you want the judge to consider must be filed at least 30 days before your individual hearing 🚨 That hearing is your final chance to fight for asylum. It’s different from your master calendar hearing, which is just for scheduling 💡 Here’s what happens all the time: someone shows up with strong evidence on the day of their hearing. Witness statements, medical records, photos—and the judge refuses to accept any of it 💔 If it wasn’t filed on time, it doesn’t go into the record. And the judge won’t consider it when deciding your case 📉 Late filings are rarely accepted. You can’t rely on exceptions ⚖️ This applies to everything: declarations, witness letters, country reports, medical evidence, photos. Anything you want the judge to see 📌 Miss that 30-day deadline, and your strongest evidence may never be reviewed. That’s how cases get lost ⏳ This is why having an immigration lawyer matters. A good attorney makes sure technical rules don’t derail your case ✊ I’m Brian Manning. If you need help with an asylum case or getting a loved one out of immigration detention, send the word “CONSULT” in a direct message 💬
