In 2015 Lagencrantz, a Swedish author and journalist, published The Girl in the Spider's Web, the first installment of his continuation of Stieg Larsson’s international bestselling “Millennium Trilogy.” It proved as popular as the original—Esquire named it one of the best thrillers of the year—and was followed by The Girl Who Takes an Eye for an Eye. In the series’ sixth installment, Lisbeth Salander returns, continuing Lagercrantz’s acclaimed inheritance of Larsson’s iconic punk hacker protagonist, marked with all of the intricate plotting and chilling suspense readers have come to know from this cycle, and from Scandinavian noir as a whole.

DAVID LAGERCRANTZ is an acclaimed Swedish author and journalist. In 2015 The Girl in the Spider's Web, his continuation of Stieg Larsson's Millennium Trilogy, became a worldwide best seller, and it was announced that Lagercrantz would write two further novels in the series. The Girl Who Takes an Eye for an Eye was published in September 2017. He is the coauthor of numerous biographies (including the internationally best-selling memoir I Am Zlatan Ibrahimovic;) and the acclaimed novel Fall of Man in Wilmslow, on the death and life of Alan Turing.
