What's going on with Your Party?

Tweets and statements were flying last week as Zarah Sultana accused fellow Your Party members of excluding her. In a clip from today's podcast, Laura and Ed try to make sense of what's gone wrong with the fledgling left-wing project.

After Sultana accused the group of sidelining her and branding it a “sexist boys’ club", she unilaterally launched a membership payment portal, only for Jeremy Corbyn and others to declare it “unauthorised” and urge supporters to cancel their direct debits. Sultana hit back, insisting she was excluded from decision-making and confirming she had set up the system alone.

Enter Our Party, a group of grassroots organisers who are demanding the MPs step aside and hand over leadership to community leaders. Questions stilll loom over who really controls the money, the name, and the direction of the new project.
