Earlier this week, Danny Kruger, then-Shadow Work and Pensions Minister and MP for East Wiltshire became the first sitting MP since the general election to join the party.

This brought the number of Reform MPs back up to five, after Rupert Lowe lost the party whip days after criticising Nigel Farage and James McMurdock left the party following allegations that he had received £70,000 in Bounce Back business loans during the COVID-19 pandemic, despite his businesses "being effectively dormant".

Danny Kruger said: “When Lee Anderson saw I was joining he asked which of us is leaving as it is one in, one out?"

MPs Lee Anderson and Sarah Pochin, Mayor of Greater Lincolnshire Andrea Jenkyns, and bookies’ favourite for Reform's Mayor of London candidate Leila Cunningham, to name but a few, are all Tory defectors

Current MPs like Suella Braverman, who recently delivered a paper on leaving the ECHR, with Reform’s Richard Tice, have also been on “defection watch”. Suella denies this is her plan.

At Reform Conference, former MP and flop reality show star Jacob Rees-Mogg said he will “advise Farage on how to govern this country.” While I spotted Jonathan Gullis, who’s previously spoke of being unable to get a job after being ousted at the general election.

It now no longer seems a question of if there will be more Tory defections, but when.
