Neuro-oncology: cancer impacts and modulates mental health (not only in the brain, also in the guts which should be reconceived as part of the neurological system). Brain tumors give rise to symptoms like depression, aggression, personality changes, anorexia, apathy, and anxiety.
Cancer is an organism subject to evolution inside our bodies. Primitive vs. hypercomplex cancers. We co-evolve, we are symbionts. Cancer is a laboratory for weeding out life-threatening mutations. It is an evolutionary vector.
